Leave it to good old fashioned story telling however for things to get interesting.Ĭonstant inner struggles from within the ship's crew, coolant leaks, carbon dioxide poisoning on the hydroponics deck, and malfunctions aplenty are only the beginning. With UNN in tow, TriOptimum's new star craft, the Von Braun, is ready to speed through the universe. Helming the production of a faster-than-light space craft, the company has teamed up with a reluctant world power, the Unified National Nominate to create a prototype ship. Many years later, TriOptimum (the corporation responsible for the creation of the nutty SHODAN) is making attempts to transform their little screw up into a distant memory. In it, a self-aware artificial intelligence known as SHODAN had gone insane and slaughtered a horde of space station inhabitants. Set deep into the future, SS2 follows the aftermath of the original game.
